The Yamaha GCB SH3 151cm Grand Piano brings the authentic Yamaha grand piano experience to more players with a compact 151 cm design and the added versatility of the SILENT Piano™ SH3 system. Enjoy the rich, full resonance and expressive performance of an acoustic Yamaha grand piano, or practise privately through headphones when you need to play quietly.
The 151cm GCB features a solid spruce soundboard and duplex scaling for richer overtones and a full, resonant tone. Its refined grand piano design also includes a centre Sostenuto pedal and soft-close fallboard, providing the traditional features and performance expected from a Yamaha acoustic grand piano in a more compact format.
When operating in SILENT mode, the SH3 SILENT Piano system provides access to sampled sounds including the renowned Yamaha CFX and Bösendorfer Imperial concert grands, along with VRM (Virtual Resonance Modeling) for a natural and immersive playing experience.
