Daftmill is Scotland's original farm distillery, run by the Cuthbert family on their farm in Fife, where they grow their own barley, distill only in the quiet weeks between planting and harvest, and mature everything on site. The first whisky was not released until 2018, thirteen years after the stills were lit, and every Daftmill bottling since has been a small, seasonal event. The 2007 Winter Release was distilled in 2007 and aged more than thirteen years in first-fill bourbon barrels and refill sherry hogsheads, then bottled at 92 proof, non-chill-filtered and naturally colored. It shows honey, vanilla and toffee on the nose with dried fruit and warm spice, then a smooth, warming palate of baked apple, cinnamon and dark chocolate, finishing long with a gentle, faintly smoky note. A rare single-farm Lowland malt for collectors and anyone who values true provenance.Buy Daftmill 2007 Winter Release Single Farm Estate Lowland Single Malt Scotch online with fast shipping right to your door.
