Eifel 2021 German Peated Duo Malt Whisky｜ Other Products

Eifel 2021 German Peated Duo Malt Whisky comes from the Eifel, the volcanic upland region of western Germany, where Eifel Whisky has been quietly building a reputation for serious, Scotch-inspired malt. This 2021 release is a "duo malt," made from both malted barley and malted rye, with a portion of the barley kilned over peat smoke to add a subtle, earthy smokiness. It is matured in oak and bottled in a 750ml bottle. The combination gives a whisky that is bold but balanced: honeyed sweetness and warm baking spice from the malts, a peppery lift from the rye and a gentle, bonfire-like peat in the background rather than the front. The finish is long and lightly smoky. German whisky is still a rarity in the U.S., and this is a well-made, distinctive example for adventurous whisky drinkers and world-whisky collectors.Buy Eifel 2021 German Peated Duo Malt Whisky online with fast shipping right to your door.
