On-the-Go｜ Other Products ｜Ocote Soul Sounds: A Pesar La Vida / Not Yet (Quantic & Chico Mann) Vinyl 7"

Ocote Soul Sounds bringin' dat heat! For those that don't know, Ocote Soul Sounds is an alias for Antibalas founder Martin Perna and Adrian Quesada from the Grammy-winning group Grupo Fantasma. You might say these dudes knows a thing or two about Latin funk, and if there was any doubt in your mind, check the sounds of "A Pesar La Vida" and "Not Yet." Serious Latin flavors with heavy drums and a touch of psychedelic vibes to boot. A-side features Chico Mann on vocal duties with the homie Quantic helping out on guitars and accordian. Recommended.
