Acer palmatum 'Shishigashira' Tree｜ Other Products

Acer palmatum 'Shishigashira' is an award-winning Japanese Maple, admired for its dark green crinkled leaves that grow in tufts on the branches. Its deeply lobed foliage gives the impression of a lion’s mane, earning it the nickname Lion’s Head Maple. Forming an upright and bushy but dense shape, Acer palmatum 'Shishigashira' takes on fabulous shades of fiery orange in autumn.
Acer palmatum 'Shishigashira' prefers a partially shaded sheltered position and will tolerate most well-draining soils. Reaching an approx. height and spread of 3 x 2 metres, this Lion’s Head Maple is well suited to smaller gardens as well as container planting.
