Gossamer: Imperishable Portable Ambient Loop Player｜ Other Products

Gossamer and Innovative Leisure may have finally found the perfect physical format for ambient music. If ambient music is really doing its job, it shouldn't be burdened with the task of having to be flipped over, and its role as true background music means fidelity isn't top priority, rendering your whole Eames chair / MM cartridge / $50,000 amplifier setup obsolete. Enter this portable ambient loop player, which cycles through each of the 8 ambient soundscapes from Gossamer's Imperishable album with the press of a button. Inspired by the similarly straightforward and convenient Buddha Machine (there was Philip Glass one last year), this is perfect for soothing an infant or just setting a vibe to chill out, take it on the train, back porch, camping trip or whatever.
