Accurate Water Testing: Lovibond® Cyanuric Acid Tablets are designed to provide precise results Easy Handling: The reagents are easy to use and can be used either with a comparator or a photometer Green Chemistry: The reagents are 100% free of boric acid, making them an friendly choice for water testing Long Shelf Life:- Foil based tablets with long shelf life Lovibond® Cyanuric acid, also known as stabiliser, can influence the effectiveness of free chlorine and thus also the effect of water care or disinfectants. The degradation of water constituents is impaired as well as the germicidal speed. The concentration of cyanuric acid can be determined with quick tests. To do this, the tablet is added to a water sample. A characteristic turbidity develops, which is measured optically with a dip tube. When analysing with a photometer, all that's required is to add the tablet to a water sample and press a button. Stabilizer, is present in all stabilized chlorine products. If the level is too high (recommended to be <50 mg/l), it will necessitate more chlorine to overcome the cyanuric acid level, potentially leading to what is known as 'chlorine lock'.
